Groups & Committees
The National Trust consists of a number of Groups and Committees working on behalf of the organisation with wide expertise in conservation and heritage management. Some committees, consisting of National Trust members are specifically related to the day to day operation of National Trust properties. In addition the National Trust properties have a number of volunteers involved either as house guides, or assisting in the gardens, with catering and or research.
Additionally a number of committees have an active role in fundraising and co-coordinating activities on behalf of the National Trust for the public good, helping the organisation to address its roles in education and community heritage involvement.
