Technical information: The lower resolution image is an 800 pixel wide 72 d.p.i. JPEG saved at under 50% quality. The original is a 300 d.p.i. TIFF saved at 100% quality. Sizes of original images vary but in most cases are considerably larger than the low resolution versions displayed here and generally speaking details are much clearer and easier to make out, though this does depend upon the condition of the original.

Lord's House and Mill. Lord ran a hydro station here which was built about 1920 but sold to the Hydro Electric Commission in 1932. It was used to light the streets of Latrobe. The house was transferred to just opposite the Lucas Hotel where it is still
