Facing onto Westbury’s Village Green this merchant’s complex includes an operating bakery, stables, garage, warehouse and cottage garden as well as the 10 room house and store which can all be explored.
The property now houses a number of diverse collections established by members of the Clemons family. Notable amongst these are the doll and toy collections dating from the 1840’s onwards and which includes the spectacular 21 room dolls house “Pendle Hall”. The transport collection includes horse drawn vehicles, early motor cars and the exhibition “100 years of Cycles 1860 – 1960”.
The wood fired bakery produces a wide range of delicious items that are available during baking hours 10 am—4 pm Tuesday to Sunday
