Rose Pruning Workshop

Rose pruners – tackling overgrown roses, correcting past mistakes, correct pruning techniques for various roses.
Brigitte Lyons has a diploma in Horticulture; Burnley Horticultural College (Vic.) with 39 years hands on experience both as a consultant in Government Depts, (Forestry, Education, National Parks and Agriculture in Victoria and as a private horticulture consultant)
Admission: $20 per person includes morning tea and workshop notes. Booking essential. Lunch available for those wishing to book, otherwise you may BYO and picnic in the beautiful grounds. All proceeds go back into the Franklin House garden.

Pruning Fruit trees workshop – understanding the need to prune and how to prune a variety of fruit trees. Identifying fruiting habits that need special pruning eg. Spur systems. Where to begin with an overgrown tree, espaliers etc.
